About the Cover

During apoptosis, nuclear matrix proteins show biochemical alterations. In the paper presented in page 125, two dimentional gel elctrophoresis was used to study the differential expression of nuclear matrix proteins. The picture represents 2-D gel image of leukemic cell line cells(HL-60) before induction of apoptosis. Proteins marked in Spot A and B were not detected following induction of apoptosis, while positions marked with oval or rectangle appeared new proteins.
