Cell Research is published monthly by Nature Publishing Group in partnership with the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences (SIBS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
Cell Research, which publishes exclusively in English, is China’s leading international journal in the life sciences with a current Impact Factor of 2.161 (Thomson-ISI, PA, USA 2006). The journal is indexed/ abstracted in Index Medicus/Medline/PubMed, Science Citation Index, Current Contents-life Sciences, SciSearch and ISI Web of Science, Chemistry Abstracts, BIOSIS, VINITI, Chinainfo (CD&Web), CJFD(CD&Web), CJCD and CEPS, etc.

Scope
Cell Research is an international journal publishing peer-reviewed original articles, invited reviews, commentaries, and letter to the editor. The journal has an international authorship and a broad scope in basic research including cell biology, molecular cell biology and related fields such as cell growth and differentiation, signal transduction, apoptosis, stem cells, development, immunology, neurosciences, plant cell biology, chromatin modulation, epigenetics and transcription.
