Grease, fuel and target — polyunsaturated lipids in metastasis

A recent study by Wang et al. published in Cell identified polyunsaturated fatty acids as important players in this process; these lipids support metastatic dissemination and colonization but due to their relevance for ferroptosis also open novel therapeutic windows.
