Leptomeningeal metastasis (LM) arises in a specialized central nervous system niche where immune dynamics are poorly understood. Remsik et al. uncover a central role for IFNγ-activated dendritic cells in constraining LM growth, highlighting the need for immune-targeted therapies tailored to this unique compartment.
