White matter interactome in vascular dementia

Tian et al. combine an immune-competent focal white matter ischemia mouse model with human single-nucleus transcriptomic data to map conserved ligand–receptor interactions in vascular dementia. This cross-species approach identifies Serpine2-LRP1 and CD39-A3AR signaling as potential therapeutic targets for enhancing remyelination and modulating microglial repair functions.
