TRAC in vivo: culmination of CAR and vector engineering

In a recent Nature work, the first stable, T cell site-specific, in vivo integration of a CAR transgene was generated in mice, integrating a decade of T cell advances in TRAC remodeling, CAR signaling, and viral vector targeting to generate in a single infusion curative TRAC-CAR human T cells in tumor-bearing humanized mice.
