Enabling whole pathway reconstruction using artificial chromosomes

A new study in Cell Research reports HAnDy (Haploidization-based DNA Assembly and Delivery in yeast) that enables efficient assembly of a 1.024 Mb artificial chromosome and chromosomal transfer between Saccharomyces species.
